It’s neurological degeneration. It could be Parkinson’s disease, which is horrible. They can’t hold a cup still and have problems walking, etc. It can sometimes be helped by medication, or even brain surgery with the placement of a chip that stops the tremor.

As you get older, things like vision, hearing and reflexes start to decline - that’s just the way it is. The thing is, these people know it and are often very bothered by it and how it affects their quality of life.

I would guess that you are talking about Parkansis disease..I know i mispelled that,

tardative diskinaseasthia. It’s cause by the nervous system slowing down and the dopamine receptors in the brain dying off. They can’t stop it, and wearing a neck brace would only be uncomfortable for them. It’s a natural part of ageing.
