Aren’t we witnessing a general and rapid aging of the population in most developed countries?
With the elderly rate gaining in numbers, it soon will be the youth which will be categorised as a minority if other factors such as immigration or birth do not increase drastically.

No. Fairly soon (if not already) they will be the majority in many industrialized countries.

First I would say that I want to know at what age do you consider people to be elderly?
Second I will say that the answer is closer to the person which stated that the young might be considered the minority in about 1 year. WHY?
Fact; there are 1 Billion people around the world that are in whats called the ‘Baby Boomers’. Starting the first day of this year about 10,000 people a day are turning 60 years old and that will continue for the next 17 years.
The real question people should be asking is what are we going to do about Social Security and Welfare? What are we going to do about the health issues in America? What will you do when 40% of your income goes to maintaining the health of the elderly? If you are having trouble making ends meet now - what are you going to do in 5, 10 or 15 years from now?
Oh LOL teaching again LOL. Sorry….
