Do you have to get a certain permit to transport the elderly?

I want to get involved with transporting elderly disabled persons in my own vehicle. Who or what state agency should I contact?

    Nothing needed unless you charge for services, then you are a commercial enterprise subject to whatever rules your area has in place. The agency to contact will vary as to which state. Start with your city government and work up from there. You may need a class A license, and of course insurance will need to be commercial also.
