I have known of a nursing home that had alarms and were gated which dealt with people who also had psychiatric problems.  I believe it is closed now.  It would be worth talking with County Mental Health, also a social worker in a hospital may know of such resources in your area.  If you have a senior outreach program in your area, they may also know if such a service exists.</description>
