Maybe you should use these creams when you are actually prone to wrinkles. If you use them prematurely, I doubt they will work when you really need them. Your body will become used to it.

As a woman of color I can personally say that until my mother’s hair turned gray we were mistaken for sisters. As far as using a face cream to stop wrinkles, don’t bother. You may see a slight change, but if the change were significant cosmetic surgeons would lose a lot of business. By the way, the pigment that colors skin is called melanin; melanoma is a skin cancer. Black women and other women of color do not have some secret thing we’re hiding from our white sisters; we just take care of our skin by staying out of the sun between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., when the sun’s rays are the strongest, drinking the purest water available to us, eating healthfully, and improving our spiritual health. All the face cream in the world is meaningless if your spirit is ill. Bring joy and peace into your life, and even when the wrinkles come you will still be young.

I have been using Noxema (old fashioned I know) for cleansing and moisturizing since I was a teenager. I am always told I look younger than my years. I was carded at the grocery store while buying beer 2 weeks ago. I’m 46. I have a fair complection and I’m careful to use sunscreen in the sun.
Black or darker skin usually ages slower due to less sun damage.

I just turned 30 (by the way it is not that fun) and I have been using anti-aging lotion since I was a teen!! It makes no difference. I truly believe it is all in your genes!! My sister is 5 years older than me and we look a lot alike. I have notice her wrinkles are just like mine (but hers are worse since she is older). Anyway, its fun to think they work but I am sure botex and surgery are in my future!!!

The ONLY product shown to repair wrinkles and reverse the skin aging process is Retin A or products containing Retin A. Everything else is just marketing guff and spin and most of it costs more per ounz than 24 carret gold.

I heard watching Oprah that because black people don’t burn as easy as fair skin their skin will not wrinkle as much.
Stay health with eating fruit veggies and drinking water and avoid smoking.

And after knowing some Sudanese people I can say their skin is very smooth.

I am a fanatic about using anti aging products too, I’m also 24. I hear a lot of people tell stories about carding a black person because they look so young but turns out they are like 40 or 50. I think black just age better. But I use all types of anti aging and skin renewing products, I think it works, my skin looks very very good. I also think it will help you age more gracefully.

no they just help to prevent them so early you have to eat right and lots of water but dont stop using them they are good to keep your face moisturized
