Why do most marketers not concentrate on senior citizens?

    At our age we own everything we want, and if in the market to buy we stick with brands we know. Very hard to convince us to change brands because some ad calls it New and Exciting
    Those seniors are the ones with the most disposable incomes so Marketers are missing out.

    I think two reasons.

    One is that seniors are perceived as not having money to spend. Since they’re retired, they live on fixed incomes. It’s stupid, because of course they still buy things.

    Another reason is just that society doesn’t like to think of seniors much at all.

    It is definitely an under-served market.
