Senior citizens who is the most and least sympathetic character you remember?

I think the most sympathetic would be Betty White. She always played such a nice person on television and I believe she is just like that in real life. She’s done so much for unwanted, homeless, and abused animals. You just can’t help but respect her.
Least sympathetic would be anyone who is getting divorced and publicly announces all of their marital problems, knowing full well what they are putting their children through. I can’t imagine hating someone so much that I would actually hurt my children in order to hurt that person. I think it shows just how self-centered they really are.

The most sympathetic character I remember was Shirley Temple. She always played poor little waifs that people wanted to adopt. My least sympathetic character was Jerry Lewis. Couldn’t stand him.
