Senior Citizens, since many are looking for ways to reduce fat and calories for Holiday meals?
CJ asked:
Have you tried replacing some of the butter or broth with apple cider in your stuffing? I heard this a few yrs. ago, and we just love it. I put chopped apples in the stuffing also. The aroma is amazing! One time I tried using only the cider, but it was a little lacking in flavor.

You can also use applesauce in cakes to replace most of the oil.

Reduce fat and calories ?
At this very moment I am ravishing a pizza and a Lite beer. It is soooooo good, I am almost scarfing it down. Naughty me……….
The apples sound delicious in the dressing. I haven’t tried it that way, but if I was cooking holiday meals again, I would try it. Thanks.
