<a href="http://kansieo.com/">Caffeinated Content</a>

Try googling Reminisce.com, and subscribe to the magazine news-
letter they send once a month. It has stories submitted by readers on
experiences they had back in their days of youth or older to talk about
in short story form. I would have them subscribe on their website to
the magazine itself, and also Reminisce Extra which comes by mail
every other month, that the main Reminisce doesn't arrive. You get
ample doses of nostalgia with both stories readers share, as well as
old pixtures they submit. It's fun to see pix. from the 40's and 50's
when we were young kids. And check out the hair and clothing styles.
I subscribe to several of their mags, and can only spent $10.00 per
subscription because of a fixed income. And they agree to that each
time I renew those magazines. There is no other magazine like them.
Not even The Good Old Days. Check out the newsletter and the
other magazines they publish. Their mags are habit forming.

Try geocaching.com as a site that will challenge them and give them joy an excitement in their lives - works for me!

If you're including paper magazines in that , then The Oldie is an excellent UK publication (I sneakily read my parents' copy, and I'm in my 30s...)

I just came across this, but really have not had a chance to explore it. You might want to take a look and suggest they check it out:

It depends on what sorts of things they're interested in. If one of them had an interest in travel, for example, Google travel magazine seniors or travel magazine retired or even just travel blog senior. Play around with your wording a bit, and Google will do the rest.

I got my Grandfather a subscription to Reminisce, which is a magazine that focuses on publishing articles, letters, and stories from the older generation about their youth. They also feature old recipes, pen pal sections, contests, editorials, and more. It's actually pretty interesting.
