Human Rights Issue Essay?

I am writing an essay fo a summer leader’s seminar. It is supposed to be about human rights issued, either local or global. I need some topics that I could write about. I’m not sure f I want to write about the war in Africa, because I think lot of girls will be writing about that. My mother says I should write about Elder Care because there are any faults with that, but I don’t want to do what she thinks would be the easiest, I want to do what I think would be interesting ad unique. So, if you could give examples of issues I could write about, it would be very much appreciated. I am interested in women’s rights, and rights that involve science, ie. cloning. So please provide me with the name of an issue, a little background Information on it, and a website that I could look up information on.
