It would depend entirely on the landlord. Most do not offer such discounts.

Seniors do not get a discount off of an established rent rate. In most citys of at least 200,000 there are usually apartment complexes that are for Seniors only. They usually have established rates that are lower than others in the city…thus giving the Seniors a discount on the market rate of the city.

I’ve never heard of a discount on rent for seniors. Maybe a +55 and over complex may offer some sort of affordable rent.

Does your landlord offer a discount? Ask him. just ’cause you’re old doesn’t mean the world owes you anything.

in my town, there are certain apartments that seniors can live in that are cheaper. talk to the landlord and see what they say.
