Are there ANY senior citizens who are looking forward to the new Harry Potter movie?

handyman is a Rat asked:

The books were actually quite engrossing, the movies less so. But I’ll admit, I’m looking forward to seeing it when it comes out on DVD. Daniel Radcliffe has turned into a handsome young man, too. Is it odd that a senior has a bit of a crush on Harry Potter? (Go back to sleep, Ed.) This question isn’t really a joke. I loved the Harry Potter books and so did my husband.

I’m kind of looking forward to it, though I’d rather see a movie about Colonel Potter!
    No, that’s not odd.

I’ve never been into that sort of thing. If I’m gonna watch a movie, it’ll most likely be either a drama or a love story. Sometimes comedy, but not as often as the others.

    Am I the only one cluing in that you and Mr Ed are married? A W E S O M E !!!

As to Harry Potter–I don’t have a crush on anyone in the series, although I am rooting for Hermoine to finally beat some sense into Ron.

Even though my family own the books and I am an avid reader, I have never felt the urge to read those particular books! But I do enjoy the movies.

(Wait–I think I might have lied. I think I might have a crush on Hagrid’s dragon!)

I saw a couple of the Harry Potter movies and found them entertaining, but I’m not really interested in seeing any others. I did enjoy playing the Harry Potter video game for a while, although I haven’t played it in a long time.

Hi hm, no I’m not a fan but here in the UK I know the books and the films have a huge following.
The older films are usually on tv during the holidays and if there is nothing else on which is generally the case then I’ll watch them as they are very well made.
    Night, night Ed.

I watch the movies once they come to TV. They are good. I have the first book but didn’t read it yet.Yes, he’s all grown up(all the youth in the films are)and I love the accent. I hope they do well in the difficult profession of acting. I loved the Lord of the Rings series too but had read those books many moons ago. Those I went to the movie theatre to see on the big screen(by myself-never had done that before).
