What can I use for my face to avoid aging?
cocoa asked:
I notice my pores are huge and I have alot of blackheads on my nose. I feel so old when I see the lines forming around my eyes. I have bags under my eyes and my skin color varies in different areas. What products have you used that can help me with my aging face. I’m only 28 yrs old and have a bronze skin color (I am hispanic) what can I use?

I use olay definity. it reduces pores, evens out skin tone, and corrects fine lines.
Ever since I’ve started using it, my skin looks radiant!
It is a little expensive, but oh so worth it.

Well I only have foundations to recommend:
1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind liquid foundation- the effects are great. Im only 17 but I actually use it to cover up undereye baggage from tiredness and to make my skin brighter. It also tightens and firms the face. I saw a difference in only a few days. It does everything for me, so I can only imagine that it does a lot for someone of your age, not too old. (I bought a Covergirl white foundation sponge to apply which I recommend with liquid foundation so you’re not pulling your face even at all, and it smooths on better)
2. This is a cheap version of bare minerals but a unique brand that is amazing. After you apply the Maybelline foundation, take a big brush (vital tool!) and swipe the minerals on t-zone and other areas you want to brighten up more, finger (pinky) a bit under the eyes and around the eyes. Also, colors are a bit darker than appear on site. You can order samples tho luckily.
If you want the appearance of perfect skin, the combination of these is INCREDIBLE (trust me!)
Both of these foundations actually HELP the skin and even when you take them off (from longtime use), your skin stays really nice.
For blackheads and pores, buy two Biore products specifically for each (found in walmart) and apply at night and in morning. Biore seems to specialize in this area of ****** imperfections.
Now, you need to know IMPORTANT steps to cleaning your face in the morning (sorry to add on the product ideas)
1. cleanse and tone. Clean and Clear has a cleanser and toner in one product. It also helps your skin to glow.
2. Exfoliate. any ****** exfoliator really will do
3. Moisturize. Clean and Clear also has a no shine moisturizer that will be good if you use the foundations I recommended since they add a glow themselves.
Basically, there is no ONE miracle product for perfect skin. It’s a combination of how it’s taken care of and what is put on it. It’s good to take off makeup anytime you are home alone, from the minute you walk in if you have no plans to let your skin breathe.
Apply these products for a month
Then see if the results are better
As I said those two foundations take care of the skin and protect it
Take care of your skin when those foundations are off.

I’m 28 too. I’m noticing the same things. Since I can’t afford the J-Lo creme De La Mer, I opt for the Eucerin q10 Anti-Wrinkle face lotion ($11 at Walgreens or Longs) and I also have Oil of Olay’s products but they test on animals.
The most important thing is to find out what type of skin you have. There is a book written by a dermotologist and it is wonderful… it gives you tips on chemicals that you should avoid, how to help with wrinkles, etc. However, since the author’s name escapes me, try this website to help you out. Good luck!
