first of all you have to start by cleaning up the porta-potty then you can put cleaning deorderizers like pinesol, fabuloso, ect…in the pot and/or by a toilet deorderizer(whick is next to the air fresheners) and put it in the pot or you can get air freshers too or that automatic one spray airfreshener by lysol or airwick.

i had the same problem with mom before she passed away. i finally decided to put a strong liner or trashbag so i could get rid of it right away. it’s cheap but workable.

sprinkle baking soda in it. Use baking soda to clean it also. Then spray with a vinegar and water mix. Kills the odor.

White vinegar is good for many cleaning jobs and removes urine stains and odors. I would put 1/2 cup of vinegar in the pot and see if that helps. also take a bowl and put 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1 cup of water and leave it on a table to absorb the odor in the room.Vinegar is a natural odor eater.
