How can I get wrinkles out of a silk blouse?
Avon asked:
I have a silk blouse that I want to wear tomorrow night, and it’s dry clean only. Can I iron it? Is there something I can do to get the wrinkles out?

Use a hair dryer…

A travel steamer or a garment steamer work great on silk and other fabrics. They are available at most department stores.
If you are ironing with a wet cloth then be careful with using regular water from a faucet, it can stain fine silk. It is best to use distilled water.

Take a soft cloth and place over the shirt while you gently iron on a warm setting.:)

if you don’t have a steamer lay a piece of paper over the silk and iron it (low setting)

You can hang the blouse in the bathroom with the shower steaming the room. This usually works.
